Is Atomax safe for my engine?
Yes, when used as directed. Atomax is formulated separately for petrol and diesel engines, so use the bottle that matches your fuel. Stick to the dosage printed on the bottle and follow your vehicle manufacturer's fuel and maintenance guidance.
How much should I use?
The 100ml bottle treats up to 40 litres of fuel, so pour the full bottle into your tank before refuelling. The 250ml bottle treats up to 100 litres; for a typical 40–50L car tank, use roughly half the bottle per fill.
How often should I use it?
Follow the dosage and service interval printed on the bottle. As a general guide, bikes and scooters benefit from a dose every 2,000–3,000 km and cars every 3,000–5,000 km. Do not exceed the recommended concentration.
Can I use the petrol additive in a diesel engine?
No. Always match the product to your fuel: use the Atomax Petrol Additive in petrol engines and the Atomax Diesel Additive in diesel engines. Do not add a petrol additive to a diesel tank, or the reverse.
Will Atomax still work when India moves to E30 petrol?
The Atomax Petrol Additive is designed for ethanol-blended petrol from E20 through E30. Always follow your vehicle manufacturer's approved-fuel guidance.
My mileage dropped after E20 arrived. Will Atomax bring it back?
No additive can replace the lower energy content of ethanol itself. What Atomax can address is the separate loss caused by fuel-system deposits and a degraded injector spray pattern, which may help recover performance lost specifically to those deposits.
When will I notice a difference?
Results depend on your vehicle's condition and whether deposits are present. Detergent chemistry needs heat cycles and flow to work, so allow a tank or two of normal driving. Atomax is preventive fuel-system care, not a repair for worn or faulty mechanical components.
Can it damage sensors or the catalytic converter?
Used as directed, no. Atomax is ash-free and burns completely, leaving nothing behind to foul sensors or the catalytic converter.
